Furthermore, eSISO is to take the following steps to comply with its commitment:
- Responsible management assurance and transparency regarding the final disposition method for Focus Materials
- Setting and monitoring progress towards periodic objectives and targets
- Only employing downstream electronics scrap recyclers that possess and are operating in accordance with a current certification to the Responsible Recycling (R2) or equivalent standard
- Prohibiting its downstream electronics scrap recycling vendors from using energy recovery, incineration, or land disposal as a management strategy for Focus Materials (FMs) or equipment and components containing FMs.
- Monitoring our performance through regular internal inspections and audits of the effectiveness of our management systems
- Communicating and reinforcing on-going fulfillment of eSISO’s Policy with our employees and contractors as well as to our suppliers, customers and the public
- Making sure the OH&S, Security & Quality policy is properly implemented, maintained and documented.
